Description

The funding supports the new construction and renovation of forestry infrastructure in Tyrol with the aim of ensuring long-term maintenance and efficient management of forest areas. Eligible for funding are truck-accessible forest roads built according to the latest state of the art, the construction of maintenance paths to improve accessibility to dammed areas, as well as the establishment of water extraction points. Applicants may be natural persons such as private forest owners, legal entities such as agricultural communities or delivery cooperatives, as well as associations of persons such as forest owner associations and working groups. The funding instrument is provided as a direct grant and is continuously open without a time limit.

Submission requires detailed planning documents and a complete funding application. The measures must comply with the forestry funding catalog, and upon approval, a final inspection is carried out by the district forestry inspection or the funding department. Eligible costs include flat rates, own contributions, in-kind services, and material costs; for larger projects, comparative offers and, if applicable, compliance with federal procurement regulations must be submitted. The program offers private and communal forest owners the opportunity to implement sustainable infrastructure projects, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the regional forestry sector.
