Description
In Vienna, non-profit organizations, companies, and private individuals can continuously apply for grants for projects aimed at strengthening voluntary engagement. The focus is on measures for quality assurance, training and further education of volunteers, professional volunteer management, and networking among stakeholders. Innovative model projects with a supraregional scope and pilot character, as well as initiatives to recruit new volunteers, are also specifically supported. Additionally, concepts for expanding the Voluntary Social Year and strengthening social cohesion and democratic participation are prioritized. A flexible application process without rigid deadlines supports the agile implementation of creative ideas and opens up diverse opportunities for voluntary engagement in Vienna.
The goal is the sustainable promotion of voluntary engagement within the framework of volunteer policy through the targeted expansion of qualification offerings, networking structures, and innovative project approaches. A prerequisite for approval is compliance with the General Framework Guidelines for Federal Funds (ARR 2004) and a formal application using the BMSGPK form. Evaluation criteria include economic viability, the plausibility of the project, and alignment with the funding focus. The application must include, among other documents, an extract from the association register, the statutes, a detailed financing plan, and financial statements (balance sheet with profit and loss account or income/expenditure statement including asset presentation). This funding opportunity is aimed at all those who wish to sustainably professionalize voluntary engagement in Vienna.
