Description
Starting September 1, 2026, a varied voluntary service position for young adults aged 16–26 will open in Tübingen-Derendingen. In a theologically oriented study house, media-technical tasks (e.g., recording and editing lectures, supporting hybrid courses, contributing to social media) will occupy about 30% of the working time. Additionally, the volunteer will assist with housekeeping, participate in practical tasks, and take on administrative duties in the office. The engagement takes place within the framework of a 12-month voluntary social year (FSJ) or federal volunteer service (BFD) and simultaneously offers the opportunity to live in a vibrant university town and experience daily interaction with students who engage intensively with questions of the Christian faith.
Applicants are characterized by technical skills in handling cameras and image/video editing software as well as a strong interest in theological issues. Selection is based on criteria such as the fit of technical abilities, motivation, and theological curiosity. Application documents (cover letter, CV, school certificates) are to be submitted by post to the sponsoring association. As a non-profit funded offering of the Albrecht-Bengel-Haus Foundation in Baden-Württemberg, a monthly allowance is granted. The goal is practical support through work in various areas and personal as well as theological guidance within the study house.
