GamesTalents

GamesTalente is a nationwide award and recognition program aimed at young people from all social backgrounds. Participants register via an online platform and submit their own digital game ideas either individually or in teams of three. In the first phase, a panel of experts consisting of educators, scientists, and representatives from the games industry decides on the winners of the online competition. The best concepts qualify for a one-week academy, where the young participants develop prototypes together with students from game design courses and media educators. The focus is not only on technical and creative implementation but also on training digital key competencies and social skills.

With the goal of ensuring inclusive and equitable talent development, the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur GmbH supports young people in discovering personal interests and expanding their career prospects in an increasingly digitalized work environment. The program promotes both cognitive development and social competence and contributes to orientation within a diverse professional field. Through the combination of a creative competition and a practice-oriented academy, an inspiring learning environment is created that motivates participants to further develop their skills and build new networks within the gaming community.
