Description
This innovative funding instrument is aimed at non-profit organizations in Carinthia to integrate long-term unemployed and persons at risk of unemployment into the labor market through non-profit labor leasing to non-profit institutions. The focus is on the thematic areas of work, social affairs, and work & social affairs. As a direct grant, non-profit organizations can submit applications indefinitely and continuously from 01.01.2023 onwards, allowing flexible responses to regional needs. The employees are professionally supervised by the organizations and receive a structured reintegration into professional activities. The maximum duration of the subsidized employment relationships is 3 to 12 months, offering participants sufficient time to consolidate their qualifications and develop practice-relevant skills. The selection of participants is carried out after a target group affiliation check by AMS Carinthia, ensuring that the funding is precisely directed at those individuals with the greatest need for support.
The financing is contributed by the State of Carinthia with 25% of the eligible personnel costs, complemented by AMS Carinthia with 67%, resulting in a total funding rate of 92%; only an own contribution of 8% remains with the deploying organization. The maximum limit of state funding is €2,500 gross per month. Only personnel costs are considered eligible expenses. Compliance with the Labor Market Service Act as well as the AMS federal guidelines for non-profit employment projects or employment foundations is a prerequisite. Non-profit organizations can submit applications indefinitely to sustainably support the professional stabilization of disadvantaged persons through this grant. The goal is a sustainable reintegration of the funded individuals into the labor market while simultaneously strengthening regional community-oriented structures.
