Through the principle of short distances, the project also contributes to climate protection. Eligible measures include construction work such as the installation of doors, windows, sanitary and electrical installations, as well as material investments in technical equipment, heating and ventilation systems, or groundwork. With a maximum funding amount of €35,000 per project and a funding rate of 50%, the program supports projects with a minimum size of €5,000 over a duration of up to 24 months.
Interested SMEs and associations must demonstrate that the planned commercial premises in Vienna have been continuously vacant for at least three months and possess a lease or purchase contract draft signed by both parties. Applications are accepted continuously between 01.01.2024 and 31.12.2026, with submission deadlines on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. Required documents include, among others, the de minimis declaration, the latest annual financial statement or income-expenditure report, confirmation of vacancy, and current photos of the vacant premises.
