Description
This funding instrument is aimed at companies in Styria that act as shareholders of cultural institutions. Shareholder contributions to Universalmuseum Joanneum GmbH, steirischer herbst festival GmbH, and Theaterholding Graz / die Steiermark GmbH are supported. The objective is to secure ongoing operating costs and enable diverse cultural activities. The grant is provided as an indefinite subsidy without fixed application deadlines; a government session resolution is a prerequisite. Applications can be submitted at any time to Department 9 Culture, Europe, Foreign Relations of the State of Styria, ensuring flexible planning for the institutions.
With this funding, the State of Styria assumes a key role in stabilizing and further developing the cultural offering. Museums, festival companies, and theater holdings thus gain planning security for exhibitions, productions, and mediation projects. The continuous provision of funds strengthens cultural discourse and enables the involved institutions to pursue long-term strategies. The unbureaucratic access and the waiver of fixed submission deadlines ensure needs-based support that meets the high-quality standards of the Styrian art and cultural sector.
