Description

The medical continuing education initiated by the German-Chinese Technology Exchange (DCTA) Foundation promotes professional training and further education in healthcare and contributes to deepening medical exchange between Germany and China. The program is aimed at Chinese physicians with medical qualifications and licensing who wish to expand their expertise in German hospitals and clinics, as well as German colleagues planning study visits to China. Funding is granted as a subsidy and covers continuing education costs, travel and accommodation expenses, as well as seminar and course fees. Applicants can apply continuously, ensuring flexible planning of the training measures.

The objective of the initiative is the sustainable strengthening of intercultural competencies and the transfer of current treatment methods in both countries. Participants benefit from practice-oriented internships, workshops, and professional conferences, implemented in cooperation with approximately 50 German and 1,200 Chinese hospitals. The program not only enhances professional expertise but also promotes personal and institutional dialogue between healthcare institutions of both countries. Through continuous application submission, funding remains easily accessible and supports the long-term bilateral knowledge transfer in the fields of education and training as well as labor and social affairs.
