Description
The Solidarity Rural Community Foundation supports non-profit organizations and associations in Bavaria with the program #GetConnected: KLB and youTH, which organize events in cooperation with structured youth groups. The goal is to strengthen the interaction between the Catholic Rural Community (KLB/Rural Community Association) and young people and to create practical spaces for encounters. Eligible for funding are youth associations, parish youth groups, as well as youth departments of clubs (for example, THW Youth or Youth Red Cross), which plan and carry out activities together with a KLB/Rural Community Association. The focus is on participatory organization, where the event is realized not "for" but "with" the youth.
In the funding period from 01.09.2024 to 31.08.2025, initiatives will receive a grant of €250 per event conducted and per Rural Community Association. Project costs for encounter formats, workshops, and community activities are covered. A prerequisite for funding is proof of an organized youth group as well as a cooperation plan demonstrating collaboration with the KLB/Rural Community Association. The duration of the funded projects is up to 12 months. Submissions can be implemented flexibly within the specified period; no separate deadline is set. The structured evaluation process ensures a fair selection in which the quality and creativity of the cooperation are assessed. This creates a vibrant foundation for innovative engagement and sustainable network building between youth organizations and the Catholic Rural Community.
