Description
Granting of subsidies to promote quality programs is aimed at companies, cooperatives, public institutions, interest groups, and associations in Brandenburg that are active in agriculture and rural development. Projects for initial and ongoing participation in the state quality programs “Bio Brandenburg Guaranteed Quality” and “Guaranteed Quality Brandenburg” as well as accompanying sales promotion measures are supported. These include mandatory control measures, information and awareness-raising events, competitions, trade fairs, exhibitions, and target-group-specific advertising campaigns. The funding guideline is valid from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026, and the project duration can be up to 84 months. Grants are provided as co-financing in the form of a non-repayable subsidy; the funding rate ranges between 70% and 100% of eligible expenses depending on the measure. Maximum funding amounts are EUR 100,000 per approval (up to EUR 50,000 for the market launch of a product group). Symbolic prizes up to EUR 1,000 per competition prize are eligible for funding. Non-reimbursable are value-added tax (if input tax deduction applies), costs already funded elsewhere, as well as self-conducted internal controls.
Licensees and trademark users of the quality programs, service providers, processing companies, participating producers, certified control bodies, as well as agricultural, food, and horticultural associations, federations, and organizations may submit applications. Prerequisites include compliance with the program requirements and, for advertising campaigns, a description of the value chain with at least three final beneficiaries. Application documents (guidelines, information sheets, application form, de minimis declarations, SME information sheet, declaration of companies in difficulty) must be submitted in full in writing to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Environment and Consumer Protection Brandenburg (Department 31). Project start is possible from January 1, 2025. The granting authority reviews compliance with the funding requirements and decides within the framework of available budgetary funds. Interested parties can obtain further information and advice directly from MLUK Brandenburg.
