Description
In Thuringia, the Free State supports measures for the recruitment and preparation of trainees from third countries for a qualified nursing training according to the Nursing Professions Act. With a flat-rate funding of €4,000 per prepared trainee, the program assists regional nursing companies, institutions, and services in addressing international skilled personnel at an early stage and preparing them for the professional language and cultural requirements. The grant is awarded as a non-repayable subsidy within the framework of de minimis aid and can be applied for continuously.
Eligible for funding are Thuringian companies, institutions, and services in the nursing sector as well as providers of practical training with a business location in Thuringia, who are recognized as service providers or in-house providers by the Thuringian Agency for Skilled Worker Recruitment (ThAFF) or the Thuringian State Development Corporation (LEG). Expenses for targeted recruitment and language preparation up to level B2, including professional language modules, are supported. Recruitment and preparation measures should primarily take place in the country of origin, although parts of the language training may also take place in Germany. Key evaluation criteria include a reliable quality assurance system, a coherent matching concept, a structured organization of consular procedures, and a viable support concept after entry. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed form to the Thuringian State Administration Office and can be submitted at any time.
