The Sourcing Voucher supports Austrian goods producers in exploring alternative procurement markets for intermediate products, in order to make their existing supply chains more resilient and to strengthen the Austrian business location.

Description
The go-international IO-VIII Sourcing Voucher is aimed at Austrian goods producers with active membership in the Austrian Economic Chambers and a domestic core business. The objective is to promote alternative procurement markets for intermediate products in order to make existing supply chains more resilient and thus sustainably strengthen Vienna as a business location. Up to 50% of the eligible net costs are granted as a subsidy to co-finance experts for information research, current state and risk analysis, contract consulting, as well as establishing contacts with potential partners. Requirements include compliance with the de minimis regulation, the new-to-sourcing-market criteria, and achieving substantial value creation of at least 25% in Austria.
Project costs from the date of application with a duration of up to nine months are eligible for funding, with a maximum grant amount per period of €10,000 (including technology or sustainability bonus). Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) whose international supply chains are disrupted and who have not conducted sourcing activities in the target country within the last two years. Eligible expenses include external consulting services related to sourcing, risk mitigation, financing, transport and logistics, as well as the procurement of market information. Non-eligible costs include, among others, personnel costs, travel expenses, cash payments over €500, and services already supported by other means. Applications are submitted free of charge via the go-international funding account by no later than 31.12.2026, subject to available budget funds. To support the application, evidence of the technology or sustainability bonus as well as the marketability of the product must be submitted, among other documents.
