Funding objective
Support for university graduates and students in Schleswig-Holstein in the pre-seed founding of innovative, technology- or knowledge-oriented, or sustainable companies through monthly grants and material cost subsidies.
Eligible expenses

Description
The Start-up Grant SH supports innovative, technology- and knowledge-oriented as well as sustainable founding teams of university graduates and students in Schleswig-Holstein during the pre-seed phase. Over a period of 8 to 12 months, graduates receive a monthly subsidy of up to EUR 1,750, students up to EUR 800. Additionally, commercial register, notary, and court fees (up to EUR 200), individual tax consulting (up to EUR 200), as well as material and investment resources for prototype construction or specialized consulting services (up to EUR 7,500) can be funded. Furthermore, free workspaces, structured coaching and support services, and a network of experts and start-up supporters are available to pave the way from idea to company foundation.
Funding is provided to founding teams with a maximum of three members, of whom at least one person must hold a university degree (Bachelor or higher) obtained no longer than ten years ago, or have completed vocational training. All team members must reside in Schleswig-Holstein, and no prior company foundations or significant revenues may exist. Evaluation criteria include the degree of innovation and the technology- or knowledge-orientation or sustainability of the business idea, the economic prospects of success, the team's qualifications, as well as a clearly defined division of tasks. The program aims to support promising start-ups at an early stage and to stimulate sustainable growth in the region.
