Description

The group fellowships of the Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf enable interdisciplinary teams from literature, visual arts, composition, as well as performing arts and academic contexts (e.g., think tanks, graduate colleges) to undertake a focused residency in the historically charming setting of Schloss Wiepersdorf. Each fellowship accommodates three to ten adult participants and, upon request, provides up to four weeks of free lodging and daily meals (three meals) during the period from March to November. In addition to 14 guest rooms, a variety of workspaces are available: conference rooms (up to 129 sqm), studios, a heated hall (140 sqm) equipped with AV technology, as well as accessible gardens and meeting rooms. The selection of groups is based on projects that address questions of aesthetic practice, romantic traditions, or German-German themes and are enriched through collaborative research, artistic production, or scholarly discourse.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and may be submitted informally via email. Required information includes details of the project leader (name, institution, address, telephone, email), group size, desired residency period, a description of the project, and spatial and technical requirements. Additional notes can be provided under "Other." The decision is made by the Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf based on the submitted concept and compatibility with the fellowship profile. Please note that residencies involving children as well as groups from sports, ensembles, or bands are currently excluded. The foundation assumes no liability for any damages incurred.
