Doing Good in MV

Doing Good in MV represents a continuously open funding opportunity designed to financially and ideologically support volunteer-driven projects in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This funding measure targets non-profit organizations, public-law institutions, as well as volunteer initiatives that strengthen your commitment and sustainably promote social cohesion in the federal state. The funding is provided in the form of a grant, which can range between €1,000 and €3,000 depending on the project’s needs. In addition to supporting projects in the areas of digitalization, education, climate protection, and culture, engagement for children, youth, sports, and social issues is also supported. With innovative ideas and a clear objective, social cohesion is to be strengthened and active civil society further developed.

The funding conditions stipulate that the proposed project has not yet started and that the application is submitted at least 12 weeks before the project begins. The initiative is managed via the EAS MV portal, which enables fully digital application submission and accounting. This requires not only a detailed and transparent project plan but also the economic efficiency and sustainability of the idea. The procedure allows applications to be submitted at any time, enabling interested parties to respond flexibly to current needs and opportunities. It is particularly noteworthy that the funding aims to support innovative projects that are not already integrated into existing funding structures.
