Hamburg Now! (Haspa Music Foundation)

Since 2008, funding from the Haspa Music Foundation has been providing impetus for musical life in the Hamburg metropolitan region. Through the program "Hamburg Now!", children and young people receive financial support on their path to musical achievements and performances. In addition, non-profit associations, music institutions, and foundations benefit from grants to implement educational, performance, and outreach projects. The goal is to strengthen local engagement and sustainably promote talent so that Hamburg continues to grow and resonate as a music metropolis on the Elbe.

Companies, associations, and institutions based in the Hamburg metropolitan region can apply for funding, provided they are recognized as non-profit or as educational or cultural institutions. The project must clearly relate to the field of music. Support is provided in the form of a grant, the amount of which depends on the specific project. Deadlines vary depending on the subprogram; for the Instrument Fund, the application deadline is February 27, 2026. Applications should include a precise project description, proof of non-profit status, and a budget plan. This initiative actively creates sustainable structures in Hamburg’s musical life and fosters a network of supporters and committed individuals.
