Hamburg Dialogues for Culture & Media – Dr. E. A. Langner Foundation

The lecture series “Hamburg Conversations for Culture & Media” by the Dr. E. A. Langner Foundation is an ongoing collaborative project that addresses key discourses within Hamburg’s cultural and media scene. In moderated panel discussions, renowned representatives from theater, journalism, music, and management provide insights into their visions, challenges, and strategies. The thematic focus ranges from social representation and societal responsibility to questions of participation and the economic viability of cultural institutions. Through keynote speeches and moderated discussions, a lively forum is created that promotes diversity of perspectives and offers a behind-the-scenes look at current decision-making processes.

The event series is equally aimed at cultural and media professionals, educational institutions, and interested citizens who wish to actively engage in the exchange on relevant issues. Admission is free; however, registration via the respective event link is required for participation. The series takes place at JazzHall Hamburg and provides space for networking between artists, scholars, and the audience. With regard to the ongoing call for proposals, non-profit organizations and educational institutions can enter into cooperations and submit their own topic suggestions. Through its open structure and dialogical format, the program supports the long-term development of discourse formats and strengthens cultural participation in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
