Approval requires that the project is innovative, has a clear focus on digitalization, and complies with the specifications of the Bavarian State Development Program as well as relevant regional plans. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, travel and accommodation, public relations, external consulting and services, investments in digital goods, and other third-party services. Applicants must demonstrate own funds amounting to at least 10% of the eligible expenses; municipalities require a minimum of €25,000 and other entities €10,000.
