Autumn Academy – Workshop Program Autumn Holidays 2025

The Autumn Academy of the Children’s Academy Fulda offers a creative workshop program during the autumn holidays 2025 for children aged 6 to 12 years. In interactive learning modules, artistic, historical, and democratic topics are conveyed in a playful manner. Participants explore the origins of art, immerse themselves in foreign cultures, and engage with social issues. Each five-day workshop includes experimental crafting, painting, and building projects as well as reflection sessions where participants can contribute and discuss their own ideas. The programs take place in the rooms of the Children’s Academy Fulda (with the exception of the workshop “Mission: Participation” at the Vonderau Museum) and include a daily lunch to ensure a holistic holiday experience.

The funding is provided as a grant for private individuals in Hesse and is aimed at any child who is registered bindingly between October 5 and 16, 2026. The prerequisites are an age between 6 and 12 years and the timely submission of the registration form via the online booking platform. A fee of 150 euros per workshop (including lunch) is charged; optional care times before 9:00 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m. can be booked for an additional charge. The minimum number of participants guarantees the implementation; cancellations are possible up to four weeks before the start with a 20% fee. The aim of the Autumn Academy is to promote creative potentials, make historical contexts tangible, and strengthen democratic action from an early age.
