holi.social is a nationwide, free sponsorship initiative of the Holistic Foundation that promotes social engagement, democratic participation, and networking as an open digital ecosystem. The platform connects individuals, civil society initiatives, associations, social start-ups, and educational institutions, providing smart filters to discover suitable projects based on time, interest, and region. Users receive inspiration, tools, and professional exchange to start their own initiatives, support existing projects, or realize joint actions in areas such as education, digitalization, work & social affairs, environmental and nature conservation. Principles such as open source, data sovereignty, and the democratization of digital spaces ensure transparency and participatory co-creation. holi.social relies on continuous development and has benefited since July 2025 from a strategic alliance with gut.org to strengthen a Europe-oriented engagement network.

The initiative explicitly targets committed private individuals, non-profit organizations, interest groups, companies, and educational providers seeking digital networking and project-based collaboration. Funding applications can be submitted at any time and informally, allowing for spontaneous participation as well as long-term planned cooperation. In addition to consulting and service or professional offerings, holi.social provides extensive networking opportunities, professional exchange, and support for training and further education measures. The goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem for civil society engagement with sponsorship funds and in-kind contributions that inspires, connects, and empowers people to achieve positive change together.
