Holistic Foundation: Funding Round

The Holistic Foundation funding round supports nonprofit organizations, associations, interest groups, educational institutions, and social enterprises in the Hamburg metropolitan region that implement innovative partner projects in alliances. The focus is on four central fields of action: lifelong learning, career and vocation, well-being and health, as well as environmental and nature conservation. Ideas in the ideation and conceptual phase, their implementation, and follow-up financing are supported. In addition to financial support in the form of material cost reimbursements, the foundation offers non-material support through professional exchange and networking opportunities. The maximum funding amount is €25,000 per project and is granted as a one-time subsidy.

A prerequisite for submitting an application is an alliance with at least one other partner, as well as proof of shared core values and objectives in line with the vision of the Holistic Foundation. Early coordination with potential project partners and a clear assignment to at least one of the funding areas increase the chances of success. The award is made through a standardized application process within the framework of the annual funding round (expected in the second quarter), with exact deadlines communicated via the foundation’s channels. Evaluation criteria include alignment with the values of the Holistic Foundation, demonstrated collaboration within the alliance, and the substantive relevance of the chosen focus area. Interested initiatives and institutions can submit their applications within the specified period and thus become part of a cooperative funding initiative that emphasizes sustainable impact and collective success.
