Description
Wood heating < 100 kW supports the new installation, conversion, and renewal of environmentally and climate-friendly heat generators with a thermal output below 100 kW throughout Austria. Eligible applicants include companies, non-profit organizations, interest groups and other associations, as well as public institutions. The goal is to reduce fossil fuel use, strengthen the supply of renewable heat, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to wood heating boilers, heat pumps and highly efficient local/district heating connections are also supported. Applications can be submitted continuously until 31.12.2050 – thus, the funding period offers long-term planning security for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The funding is provided in the form of a one-time grant for the acquisition and installation of the system, planning and commissioning costs, as well as dismantling and disposal costs. The application must be submitted after project completion, no later than six months after invoicing. A separate application must be submitted for each system implemented simultaneously. As the funding manager, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting GmbH provides expert knowledge and supports the entire process from submission to payment. Interested project sponsors can find all funding documents, including the signed settlement form and invoice copies, for application via the online application in “Meine Förderung”. This funding offer combines ecological sustainability with economic efficiency and makes a significant contribution to climate protection in Austria.
