Description
HORIZON-EIC-2026-BAS-01-ECOSYSTEM enables EIC Awardees and other eligible beneficiaries from EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries to gain rapid and flexible access to first-class R&D infrastructures, prototyping facilities, IP and legal advice, as well as other EIC Ecosystem services. Through an ongoing open call, eligible applicants receive lump sum grants of up to 70% for R&D infrastructure, prototyping, and IP/legal support, and up to 50% for additional services. The maximum funding amount is up to €60,000 per recipient for a project duration of up to 36 months. Funding is provided not only to EIC Accelerator awardees and Seal of Excellence recipients but also to third parties who contact Ecosystem partners listed in an online partner catalog and provide proof of partner approval. Applications can be submitted at any time via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
At the time of application, the award as an EIC Awardee (or Seal of Excellence), reference to the specific Ecosystem partner, and proof of partner approval must be provided. Service requests may cover services rendered up to six months prior or ongoing and are processed on a “first come, first served” basis. Evaluation is based on Excellence, Impact, and Quality and efficiency of the implementation. As part of the project, real-time monitoring will be established to visualize application and funding data by region, service types, and partners. Accompanying quality and impact surveys ensure sustainable improvements. Thus, the program component “Financial support to access services from Ecosystem partners” makes a significant contribution to strengthening the European innovation ecosystem.
