HULKs

The HULKs funding program of the Foundation for the Promotion of the Technical University of Hamburg supports non-profit organizations in the Hamburg metropolitan region in the realization of forward-looking research and educational projects. Individual researchers, sports initiatives, as well as cultural and media associations receive financial grants for material costs and awards, as well as non-material support through networking and professional exchange. The goal is to strengthen innovative teaching methods and international exchange programs on campus and to sustainably expand knowledge transfer in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, computer science, mathematics, and sports. Ongoing application opportunities ensure timely project funding without a fixed maximum duration, allowing flexible responses to current needs.

The program is particularly aimed at associations and initiatives that wish to set new impulses in close cooperation with the Technical University of Hamburg. Through an informal application process, project leaders can easily contact the office and submit needs-based applications. The foundation supports both individuals and project teams and promotes international exchange on campus. With this commitment, the funding contributes to the excellence of the university and simultaneously serves the long-term strengthening of the regional research infrastructure in Hamburg.
