Description
The funding program "Humanitarian Donations and Grants" has been supporting individuals and non-profit aid organizations in Carinthia since January 1, 2014, in cases of acute emergencies and neighborhood assistance. The focus is on direct grants to manage crisis situations as well as to promote voluntary solidarity on site. Funding is provided on a discretionary basis according to the General Guidelines for Funding from State Funds and is offered indefinitely. The program covers the areas of social affairs, disaster protection, and labor & social services, thereby enabling a wide range of needs-based measures to be supported.
To submit an application, a written request and a signed subsidy declaration are required. Furthermore, proof of need or provided neighborhood assistance must be documented with appropriate evidence, as well as the use of already incurred expenses through original invoices and payment confirmations. The funding commitment is granted by the responsible political advisor, and the grant amount must be used economically and for the intended purpose. After successful approval, proof of use must be submitted. This funding instrument sustainably strengthens the social fabric in Carinthia and invites interested parties to engage thoroughly with the guidelines and conditions.
