Impuls3: Energy and Environmental Consulting

The Vorarlberg state program Impuls3 supports companies, municipalities, associations, denominational institutions, as well as educational providers in obtaining external energy, mobility, and environmental consulting. The goal is to identify and implement measures to increase energy and resource efficiency, promote the use of renewable energy sources, and enhance environmental and climate protection in businesses and local authorities. The funding is provided as a one-time grant covering up to 50% of eligible consulting costs. Eligible applicants are organizations of all company sizes (small, medium, and large enterprises) that have their consulting location in Vorarlberg and collaborate with qualified consultants.

Only fees for external consulting firms (net, excluding incidental costs) are eligible for funding. Mileage allowances, per diems, accommodation expenses, and value-added tax are not reimbursable. Energy and mobility consultations for large enterprises subject to audits under the Federal Energy Efficiency Act are not eligible for funding. A prerequisite for funding is the listing of energy consultants in the register of qualified energy service providers or recognition as an environmental label consultant. Applications must be submitted before the start of consulting via the online registration form in the measure database; there is no deadline. Thus, Impuls3 continuously provides planning security for companies as well as public and non-profit institutions in Vorarlberg that wish to professionally advance their environmental and climate strategies.
