The program targets projects and individuals in the fields of education, sports, as well as science & research, enabling continuous support without a fixed maximum limit. Both one-time contributions and long-term financing are possible. The foundation provides funds in the form of scholarships as well as reimbursements for material and personnel costs and recognizes outstanding commitment through award presentations. Additionally, non-financial support is offered through training opportunities, networking activities, and professional exchange. A prerequisite for funding is proven non-profit status (tax exemption certificate). Applications can be submitted at any time.

The standardized application process begins with a concise elevator pitch in the online form, followed by a multi-stage pre-selection in which project ideas are individually supported and, if necessary, further developed through detailed application documents. After a positive decision, there is the possibility of one-time support or an intensive, multi-year collaboration anchored in a funding agreement. The flexible structure of the Ingeborg Gross Foundation provides participants access to tailor-made funding instruments and a continuously growing network of experts. The combination of financial grants and non-financial support creates sustainable synergies that contribute to the development of forward-looking concepts in the fields of engagement.
