Description
As part of the innovation support for research, development, and innovation projects in Tyrol, targeted impulses are provided to the Tyrolean economy. Recipients can be micro-enterprises as well as SMEs with commercial authorization and a registered office in the region, aiming to advance market-oriented new developments, substantially optimize existing products, processes, and services, or introduce new technologies collaboratively with research institutions through feasibility studies. The measure focuses on projects where at least 20% of the project costs are allocated to external services, goods, and material costs. This strengthens technology transfer and realizes ideas with high economic and technical added value.
Projects with a duration of six to a maximum of 24 months are funded and can be submitted continuously until 31.12.2027. Personnel costs, external services, as well as goods and material costs are eligible for funding. Support is provided as a non-repayable one-time grant amounting to 40% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of 40,000 euros; when involving research institutions, the funding rate increases up to 50%. Funding requirements include a Tyrolean location, status as a micro-enterprise or SME, and a valid commercial authorization. Required documents include a detailed project description, a cost breakdown, and the latest annual financial statements. This funding instrument creates a transparent framework for efficient application procedures and strengthens the innovation potential in Tyrol.
