Innovation Fund Schleswig-Holstein

The Innovation Fund Schleswig-Holstein supports companies, start-ups, founders, as well as public and scientific institutions in realizing visionary investment and research projects in Schleswig-Holstein. With a non-repayable grant, the funding is flexibly tailored to the needs of innovative projects and contributes to sustainably strengthening the regional economic strength and competitiveness. Eligible to apply are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, educational institutions, and research institutions that wish to implement their developments in the areas of digitalization, corporate financing, research & innovation, or consulting. Applications can be submitted continuously and require only a completed application form, a detailed project description, and a reliable financing plan.

The selection process is based on three central evaluation criteria: the level of innovation of the project, economic viability, and benefit to the region. A convincing concept that promotes new technologies, processes, or business models while simultaneously strengthening the local labor market increases the chances of receiving funding. Through close cooperation with the Investment Bank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH), participants benefit from expert support during the application and accounting phases. IB.SH combines its own credit resources with funding from the state, federal government, and the EU, ensuring transparent use of funds. The straightforward submission process enables interested parties to promptly contribute to sustainable growth and pioneering innovations in the true North.
