Description

The Entrepreneurial Foundation for Equal Opportunities (USC) supports established, non-profit social enterprises and civil society organizations nationwide that sustainably empower children and young people (0–26 years) in the areas of education, participation, and health through evidence-based approaches. Scalable projects that dismantle structural barriers and thus create genuine prospects are supported through long-term institutional grants starting at €250,000 per year. As strategic partners, the USC provides not only substantial financial resources but also entrepreneurial expertise, professional guidance, and a broad network. Efficient, KPI-based reporting as well as participation in governance bodies ensure that impact is systemically anchored and secured in the long term.

Eligible for funding are organizations with full-time staff, non-profit status, and an annual budget of at least €1 million, which demonstrably implement a replicable solution approach and reach at least 50% of their target group aged 0–26 years. The selection process evaluates four core criteria: entrepreneurial competence and team expertise, clear scaling strategy, evaluated impact, and systemic sustainability and diversification of funding. Interested social enterprises can submit their pitch deck continuously and receive constructive feedback within three to six months through a data-driven, multi-stage procedure. This funding approach invites innovative social innovations to be jointly advanced to the next growth level, thereby effecting sustainable change nationwide.
