Integration and Migration - Funding and Subsidies

In Carinthia, a grant program is offered that supports the financing and co-financing of integration projects, non-profit associations, and public institutions. Eligible for funding are interest groups, other associations, and non-profit organizations as well as public institutions committed to the social participation of refugees and migrants. The goal is the sustainable promotion of informational events, language courses, and counseling centers to strengthen social and professional integration locally. Management is carried out as a discretionary decision based on the guideline for project funding of integration measures in Carinthia, with disbursements made following positive verification of documentation and proper use.

Applications have been accepted continuously since 01.01.2014, thus offering flexible planning for committed initiatives. A complete application requires an application form, a financial plan, and a project description. In addition, a subsidy declaration and an already granted funding commitment must be submitted. This creates a reliable funding pillar for projects in the fields of migration and labor & social affairs, which are considered important building blocks for an open and inclusive social coexistence. Interested associations and organizations thereby receive the financial basis to effectively implement their integration measures.
