Description

Since 2019, the Carinthia Integration Award „gemeinsam.gewinnt“ has annually recognized exemplary initiatives in migration work and social cohesion. The award is presented within the framework of the integration mission statement „Together in Carinthia“ and honors achievements in the areas of civil society engagement, integration in the community, and integration in the workplace. A prize of 5,000 euros is awarded per category to highlight the commitment of individuals, associations, companies, and public institutions. An independent expert jury evaluates the quality and impact of the projects, thereby sending a strong signal for solidarity and democratic values in the region.

Eligible to participate are natural persons aged 16 and over, as well as legal entities and public law bodies with integration projects already underway or completed in Carinthia. Each organization may submit one project, with applications accepted exclusively via an online form. Submission deadlines are set and published annually, with ongoing funding opportunities available. In addition to financial support, the winners receive a valuable platform for networking and public relations. The award contributes to promoting exemplary concepts in the fields of migration, labor, and social affairs, as well as engagement for social cohesion, and to sustainably advancing integration work in the federal state. The process is coordinated by Department 13 – Society and Integration of the Carinthian State Government.
