Description

The Integration Directive funding program is aimed at organizations, companies, public institutions, and educational establishments based in Thuringia that implement projects for the professional integration of unemployed individuals, incarcerated persons, and ex-offenders. It supports measures that facilitate entry into the labor market for disadvantaged target groups through job-related preparation and intensive accompaniment. Both integration projects and accompanying support measures in the areas of employment, vocational training and further education, as well as work & social affairs, are the focus. The funding is based on grants from ESF+ and is provided in the form of full financing of eligible expenses – such as personnel costs, material, and administrative expenses.

The program aims to strengthen social participation and professional integration of persons disadvantaged due to their individual, social, or professional circumstances. In particular, unemployed individuals residing in Thuringia, low-qualified incarcerated persons, and ex-offenders benefit from the offered measures, which target sustainable reintegration into the labor market. Participants are usually assigned by the responsible job centers or correctional facilities, ensuring that the projects precisely address the local needs. It is expected that eligible projects will be carried out in Thuringia and that the applying organizations have the necessary educational personnel to ensure smooth implementation.

Applications must be submitted in a formal manner via the online portal of the Thuringian State Administration Office. The application includes a detailed project description, a financing plan, and other necessary documents such as the ANBest-P annex and the declaration on the Charter of Fundamental Rights. With a funding rate of up to 100 percent, it is ensured that all relevant expenses within the scope of project implementation are fully covered. Applications must be submitted at least 12 weeks before the start of the project to enable a smooth selection process. Overall, this funding program offers an attractive opportunity to specifically support disadvantaged groups and sustainably promote their integration into professional life.
