Description
»Interreg Slovenia.KOMBI« promotes cross-border cooperation between Carinthia and Slovenia with a focus on the circular economy and biodiversity protection. Innovative projects in Carinthian companies, research institutions, interest groups, and public institutions are co-financed, contributing to the sustainable development of the region. The regional coordination office at the Carinthian Economic Promotion Fund (KWF) provides early advice on the funding conditions of the Interreg VI-A program and grants a non-repayable subsidy upon positive funding decision. Submissions for the KWF application and project data sheet are continuously possible until December 31, 2026.
Funding is provided to natural and legal persons based in Carinthia who, together with international partners, have an Interreg approval and implement a significant project share within Carinthian territory. The funding rate amounts to up to 15% of the eligible project costs, including personnel costs, office and administrative expenses, travel and accommodation costs, external expertise, equipment, as well as infrastructure and construction work. Costs incurred before the application, fines, and unlisted expenses are excluded. Through the combination of information, application consulting, and ongoing support, »Interreg Slovenia.KOMBI« ensures innovative impulses and strengthens competitiveness at the regional innovation location Carinthia. Interested project partners are encouraged to inform themselves early about the funding requirements and application formalities at the KWF.
