Description

As part of an Upper Austrian funding program, structural investment measures in private daycare centers are supported. Eligible applicants include private legal entities such as non-profit associations, parishes, religious communities, individuals, as well as company daycare centers in Upper Austria. The program focuses on the thematic areas of children and youth, infrastructure, labor & social affairs, and urban development, offering a non-repayable grant for new construction, adaptation, renovation, and furnishing of daycare centers. The funding amount is based on the recognized costs and aims to sustainably improve the conditions for children under three years of age.

Applications must be submitted in a timely manner before the start of construction and must include a detailed cost estimate as well as a catalog of measures. Compliance with the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Upper Austria is a binding prerequisite. Eligible expenses include construction, adaptation, renovation, and furnishing costs. The program has been permanently open since November 2013, allowing for continuous funding applications. Private legal entities benefit from financial relief in implementing modern care facilities and equipment. Upon completion of the funded construction measures, a final accounting with a comprehensive cost statement must be submitted to transparently demonstrate the use of funds and to meet the funding criteria.
