Description

The Job4000 funding program supports employers in Hamburg in the professional integration of particularly affected severely disabled individuals. Public institutions and companies can create new socially insured jobs or take over employees from inclusion enterprises through a two-year subsidy. The goal is the sustainable increase of participation of this target group in the primary labor market. Only gross wage costs for positions with at least 15 hours of weekly working time (in the case of part-time) or at least 12 hours in inclusion enterprises are eligible for funding. The funding rate is 30% of the gross wage per funding year for newly created jobs, and 50% including the employer's social security contributions for transitions from inclusion enterprises.

A prerequisite for funding is that the number of employed severely disabled persons in the company increases and that the subsidized positions are maintained even after the funding period ends. Applicants must ensure compliance with the minimum wage and predominantly utilize statutory benefits. Grants can be drawn until December 31, 2036, and must be used within the project duration of 24 months. Applications must be submitted to the Hamburg Integration Office by December 31, 2026. These financial incentives aim to sustainably promote skilled labor potential among particularly affected severely disabled individuals and strengthen long-term employment relationships.
