Description
The six-month JOBLINGE program of the JOBLINGE Foundation is aimed at young adults without completed vocational training – including school leavers without further prospects, job seekers, as well as refugees and migrants – who are seeking support on their path to training or employment. Participants are activated in small groups and acquire initial social and job skills through non-profit projects. In the subsequent orientation phase, individual strength analyses, career counseling sessions, and trial days at partner companies are the focus. This is followed by practice-oriented qualification internships, where participants can test their professional interests and skills in a real work environment. Admission is voluntary and takes place through referrals from job centers or the Federal Employment Agency; there are no fixed application deadlines, ensuring continuous entry opportunities nationwide.
The funding objective is the tailored placement into training or employment through personal support until a successful start. Mentors from business and volunteer sectors act as advisors and trusted contacts for the young people. After a successful transition into training or employment, the JOBLINGE team remains available as a contact and offers additional workshops, seminars, and accompanying training support. In this way, the program not only contributes to individual career planning but also strengthens social cohesion by sustainably opening up perspectives for young people in the labor market.
