Description
The Josef Wund Foundation non-profit GmbH annually supports dedicated young scientists within the framework of the Jugend forscht partnership with the special award "The Power of Water" and the subsequent JWS Water Expert Scholarship. Nationwide, the foundation funds individuals who have been honored with the special award in the "Jugend forscht" or "Schüler experimentieren" competitions and who are pursuing a water-related degree program or a thesis on the topic of water. With a monthly scholarship of €200, the funding aims to strengthen young professionals in the field of water as a source of life, energy carrier, health factor, or risk factor and to further advance their scientific projects.
In addition to tuition fees, expenses for workshops, excursions, or stays abroad that deepen professional exchange and practical experience are also supported. A prerequisite is proof of the special award "The Power of Water," current enrollment in a water-related degree program, or a project description of the water-related thesis. Applications can be submitted at any time without a fixed deadline, with all required documents simply sent by email. Awards are made continuously, taking into account the thematic relevance of the degree program or thesis. Thus, the scholarship creates attractive conditions for aspiring experts dedicated to the research and responsible use of water.
