Description
The Kaiserschild Lectures are a nationwide event series organized by the Non-Profit Private Foundation Kaiserschild in Vienna, offering students from all disciplines as well as the interested public an interactive access to current innovation topics. Each year, with changing thematic focuses, panel discussions and practice-oriented workshops are offered, where participants jointly discuss forward-looking issues and develop solution approaches together with experts from science and industry. The sponsorship-funded series is part of the foundation’s commitment in the fields of research & innovation, science, education & training, and is implemented in cooperation with the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna. The events will commence from January 28, 2026, and registrations are continuously possible as soon as the respective dates are announced.
Aiming to promote knowledge transfer and interdisciplinary exchange, the series supports the building of networks and highlights career perspectives. Students enrolled at a tertiary educational institution in Austria, as well as all interested parties with a strong interest in scientific topics, meet the participation requirements. Through open dialogue, early-career researchers are encouraged to actively contribute and to feed the insights from their disciplines into the discourse. The Kaiserschild Lectures thus contribute to strengthening innovation competencies and help to network and inspire the next generation of researchers and economic actors.
