Description
The funding program initiated by the Carl Beermann Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia that are committed to the fields of child and youth protection, social affairs, and health. Through sponsorship, the Medical Child Protection Clinic and the Medical Counseling Center against Neglect and Abuse of Children e.V. in the Recklinghausen district are sustainably supported. The goal is to provide neglected, abused, and mistreated children and adolescents, together with their families, with comprehensive medical, psychological, and social care. The program offers ongoing funding opportunities and makes an important contribution to the prevention of violence against young people by implementing both therapeutic and preventive measures in schools and counseling centers.
Funding is provided for free child protection examinations, psychological care services, and socio-educational counseling, which are conducted in close collaboration between physicians, psychologists, and social workers. The funding program creates uncomplicated access to specialized contact points at the Vestische Children’s and Youth Clinic Datteln and strengthens families through individual strategies for conflict resolution and violence prevention. Continuous financing by the Carl Beermann Foundation enables the provision of professional assistance to up to 160 affected young people annually, thereby securing their quality of life in the long term. The funding offers non-profit organizations the opportunity to expand the network in the Recklinghausen district and jointly build effective protection structures for children and adolescents.
