Kids4nature is an innovative funding program in Bavaria dedicated to supporting non-profit projects that encourage children and young people to engage in physical activity in nature. By providing a grant, the Schöffel Foundation promotes sustainable projects that strengthen not only physical activity but also environmental awareness and social participation among young people. The program is based on the foundation’s long-standing experience, which has been operating since 2011 with the goal of sustainably supporting the development of children and adolescents. Under the guiding principle “setting out together – making a sustainable impact,” Kids4nature offers diverse opportunities to integrate nature experiences into everyday life, thereby opening up a positive future perspective.

Within the framework of Kids4nature, funding is specifically aimed at non-profit organizations that initiate projects to promote outdoor physical activities. The measure requires that the projects launched ensure an appealing and target-group-appropriate approach to children and young people. In addition to movement and sports, aspects of environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, animal welfare, as well as cultural and media-related educational initiatives are taken into account. Applications are accepted continuously via a PDF application form, with all necessary information and application templates provided directly. This transparent process enables interested organizations to benefit from the funding easily and flexibly.
