Description
In the Hamburg district of Rissen, the children's and youth hospice Sternenbrücke offers holistic, palliative care for children, adolescents, and young adults up to 27 years of age with incurable, life-shortening illnesses. From the time of diagnosis, the young guests and their families are supported by an interdisciplinary team of nursing professionals, therapists, and psychosocial experts. In addition to medical and nursing care, the program also includes animal-assisted interventions, creative activities, and special education.
