Description

The Kinnings Academy is a one-year leadership program by the Kinnings Foundation gGmbH, specifically targeting 18- to 35-year-old changemakers residing in Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. In an intensive program format, young leadership talents who have already initiated first impulses in their regions are supported in expanding their skills in the areas of education and training, social cohesion, as well as work and social affairs. Through coordinated training modules, individual coaching, and active exchange with like-minded peers, an inspiring environment is created that drives sustainable change processes. Expressions of interest can be submitted year-round; the formal application phase will begin at a later date.

Participants benefit from practical workshops, professional guidance by experienced experts, and access to a growing network of committed actors in East Germany. Over twelve months, they implement their own projects, deepen their leadership skills, and establish valuable contacts with mentors and funding partners. Prerequisites for successful participation, in addition to being between 18 and 35 years old, include demonstrated initial impact in their home region and a willingness to actively contribute to transformation processes. The Kinnings Academy thus offers a unique opportunity to sustainably shape professional and personal development steps and to jointly help shape the future of East Germany alongside other emerging talents.
