Description
The funding pool "Small-scale measures from the Zweck revenues of the GlücksSpirale" of the Bavarian Nature Conservation Fund supports practice-oriented nature conservation projects throughout Bavaria. Funding is exclusively provided to non-profit interest groups or other associations – in particular recognized nature conservation organizations such as the Bund Naturschutz Bayern e.V., the Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz in Bayern e.V., and the Deutsche Verband für Landschaftspflege e.V. – which implement measures within twelve months to preserve biodiversity, connect biotopes, and develop environmentally appropriate usage concepts. The focus is on applied research, professional consulting, educational offerings, as well as innovations in energy efficiency and climate protection. Through an unbureaucratic process and close cooperation with nature conservation authorities, local engagement is effectively supported.
A grant of up to €18,500 per measure is available at a funding rate of 100%. Applications can be submitted continuously; the funding legal basis is derived from the ANBest-P and ANBest-K ancillary provisions. Key evaluation criteria are the direct practical relevance, straightforward processing, and collaboration between associations and authorities. For application, the completed application form and proof of compliance with the ancillary provisions must be submitted. These small-scale measures are a proven instrument to strengthen nature conservation and educational projects in Bavaria and offer interested parties an attractive opportunity to successfully implement innovative initiatives related to environmental and species protection, research, and further education.
