Description
The KLIMAfit BW funding program supports groups from companies and other organizations in Baden-Württemberg on their path to systematic corporate climate protection management. Over a period of six to nine months, participatory workshops and individual consulting days led by qualified experts develop a reliable greenhouse gas inventory as well as a tailored action plan for emission reduction. The process concludes with an independent final audit, after which participating companies are honored with the “Klimafit BW-Betrieb” certification upon successful completion. Through the close integration of group work and expert consulting, the program promotes the exchange of experiences among participants and creates sustainable structures for long-term climate protection.
Project sponsors such as municipalities, chambers, associations, guilds, churches, or companies can form a convoy with five to twelve participants and receive a non-repayable grant covering up to 80% of eligible expenses, but no more than €5,000 per group. Funding is provided primarily for consulting days, workshop costs, and expenses for on-site inspections. Applications can be submitted at any time before the convoy begins, allowing flexible adaptation to local planning cycles. By combining practical support with financial assistance, the program offers a valuable impetus to sustainably embed climate protection measures in companies and organizations across all sectors.
