Climate Initiative "More & Less"

The climate initiative "More & Less" by the FuturoVerde Foundation targets companies and non-profit organizations throughout Germany that want to actively reduce CO₂ emissions rather than merely offset them. As an open-ended grant program, the project supports concrete emission reduction measures in production, logistics, and energy efficiency. In parallel, the initiative supports reforestation projects in tropical rainforests to sequester additional CO₂ from the atmosphere over the long term. Participants benefit from networking with other climate-friendly business partners and guidance from experienced experts who provide individualized advice on sustainable business processes. The combination of practical CO₂ reduction and professional reforestation creates synergies and enhances the impact of all measures.

Only projects that clearly focus on active emission reduction and demonstrate willingness to collaborate with experts and other funding partners are supported. Evaluation criteria include the sustainability focus, measurability of the targeted savings, and potential for cooperation. Through the continuous application process, interested organizations and companies can apply for funding at any time and thus quickly start effective climate protection measures. The initiative combines long-term forest projects with practical efficiency solutions, thereby making a holistic contribution to environmental protection and strengthening climate-friendly value creation in Germany.
