Climate Protection/Compensation Contribution for Projects (FAMAB Foundation)

The FAMAB Foundation supports companies, non-profit organizations, and start-ups from the event industry nationwide with targeted grants for climate protection and compensation projects. The focus is on the systematic determination of unavoidable CO₂ emissions in trade fair stand, event/congress, and catering projects. Subsequent CO₂ compensation is carried out through tailored foundation contributions. Eligible expenses include emissions calculation, consulting, and compensation measures. A prerequisite is active engagement in the industry as well as a willingness to conduct transparent CO₂ accounting. The FAMAB Foundation evaluates applications based on sustainability aspects and industry-relevant project design. A brief project description and the completed contact form must be submitted – applications can be made at any time.

Through this support, participants gain an uncomplicated entry into active climate protection and can design their projects to be climate-neutral. The funding program aims to sustainably strengthen the industry's sense of responsibility for environmental and nature conservation and to assist economic actors in implementing resource-efficient concepts.
