Description

The Integrative Medicine & Pharmacy Foundation supports individual case reports on mistletoe therapy in oncology throughout Germany with the program Clinical Case Studies on Cancer Therapy. The goal is the systematic documentation according to the internationally recognized CARE guidelines in order to provide evidence-based proof of the efficacy and safety of this complementary treatment method. Physicians and researchers from clinical and scientific fields can continuously apply for grants to finance the preparation and documentation of their case studies as well as publication fees in professional journals. Selection is based on the completeness of CARE-compliant documentation, publication potential, and contribution to health services research.

The program is aimed at private individuals and educational institutions wishing to submit a case report and present a clear publication plan. Expenses for the creation of structured case studies, the peer-review process, and article processing charges of reputable journals are funded. Through the continuous submission option, participants benefit from a flexible application deadline without fixed cutoffs. The documented experiences are intended to contribute in the long term to the development of new therapeutic approaches, strengthen the interdisciplinary dialogue between integrative and conventional medicine, and sustainably improve the care of cancer patients.
