Description
The KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN program – status and potential analyses as well as strategic consulting – supports small and medium-sized enterprises in Vienna in the digital and ecological transformation of their business models and processes. Interested companies can choose from two funding modules: In the “Status and Potential Analyses” toolbox, certified consultants identify green and digital fields of action using structured methods. Initially, current and target scenarios are mapped, and opportunities and risks are derived based on trend maps. For this analysis, the grant covers up to 80% of the costs, up to a maximum of €400 per tool. In the “Strategic Consulting” toolbox, experts accompany strategic steps from idea generation to implementation planning. Here, 50% of the consulting costs, up to a maximum of €1,000 per tool, are funded. Both modules can be combined multiple times, with each individual tool usable once during the funding period.
Consultations by certified experts qualified in the areas of business model and process innovation, e-commerce, online marketing & social media, IT and cybersecurity, as well as digital administration, are eligible for funding. Applications are submitted digitally via the aws funding manager; applications are accepted continuously as long as the budget is available. The funding process includes a preliminary consultation, reservation confirmation, professional implementation, and a final settlement with consulting report, invoice, and proof of payment. The goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of Viennese SMEs, promote sustainable resource use, and realize practice-oriented digitalization projects.
