Small and medium-sized enterprises with official trade licenses or GLN use the online tool to jointly identify potential for increasing energy efficiency, resource conservation, and supply chain transparency together with certified consultants. The one-month consultancy receives a 50% subsidy up to a maximum of EUR 1,000 excluding VAT and has been available since May 21, 2024, until the budget is exhausted. The goal is to develop innovative, actionable transformation strategies that make a tangible contribution to sustainable economic development.
Eligible expenses include consultancy fees only; travel costs, services rendered prior to application, and VAT are excluded. Applications are submitted digitally via the aws funding manager and require a trade license, SME status proof, offer and certification confirmation of the consultant, as well as invoices with payment evidence. Selection criteria include the level of innovation, contribution to climate protection, relevance for digitized processes, and feasibility. Applications can be submitted until December 31, 2027, or until the budget is depleted. This funding offer aims to sustainably strengthen the competitiveness and environmental performance of Austrian SMEs.
